Building Regional Capacity: KPS Trains Cohort 1 Master Trainers Across 6 Southern Volta Districts to Champion Curriculum ICT Integration
To ensure scalable and sustainable educational transformation, Keep Premium Solutions (KPS) convened a rigorous 2-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop for 30 select educators and education office staff. Representing Anloga, Keta, Ketu South, Ketu North, Akatsi South, and Akatsi North, this flagship Cohort 1 master-trainer team was certified to spearhead municipal and district-level training on ICT integration into both the Standards-Based Curriculum and the Common Core Programme.

Sustainable educational development depends on creating localized expertise that outlasts any single training event. Rather than relying on external facilitators for every school intervention, building a strong cadre of resident master trainers ensures that continuous mentorship, monitoring, and technical assistance remain readily accessible within every education directorate.
To institutionalize this approach across southern Volta, Keep Premium Solutions (KPS) conducted an intensive 2-day Training of Trainers (ToT) workshop for 30 carefully selected frontline teachers, ICT leads, and district education office staff.
Strategic Representation Across 6 Districts
Recognizing that regional transformation requires deep local coverage, participants were selected to represent six key districts and municipalities:
- Anloga District
- Keta Municipal
- Ketu South Municipal
- Ketu North Municipal
- Akatsi South District
- Akatsi North District
By combining classroom teachers with district office personnel, the workshop bridged the gap between policy oversight and daily classroom delivery, ensuring seamless coordination for upcoming grassroots rollouts.
Core Modules Covered Across the 2-Day Intensive
The curriculum for Cohort 1 was specifically designed to prepare these 30 professionals not just as tech users, but as authoritative lead facilitators: 1. Curriculum Alignment: Deep-dive alignment into how ICT serves as a catalyst for competencies in both the Standards-Based Curriculum (Primary) and the Common Core Programme (JHS). 2. Pedagogical Facilitation & Adult Learning: Techniques for leading adult training sessions, handling varied digital competencies among teachers, and demonstrating learner-centered instructional methods. 3. Low-Resource Tech Integration: Practical strategies for utilizing digital tools, offline resources, and simulated learning environments in schools with limited hardware or connectivity. 4. Technology-Enhanced Formative Assessment: Hands-on training on digital diagnostic tools, automated grading workflows, and learning outcome tracking. 5. Workshop Simulation & Quality Control: Participants conducted peer-led simulation sessions, receiving critical feedback on presentation clarity, interactive pedagogy, and time management.
Impact and Cascading Effect
As the accredited Cohort 1 Trainer of Trainees, these 30 specialists form the backbone of KPS's decentralized training architecture:
- Scalable Multiplier Effect: Empowered to lead upcoming district and municipal-level teacher workshops, ensuring thousands of teachers can be reached efficiently and consistently.
- Embedded District Support: District directorates now possess resident master trainers who can provide continuous on-the-job coaching to basic school teachers.
- Unified Standards: Guarantees that every teacher trained across southern Volta receives the same high-quality, standardized instruction aligned with National Teaching Council (NTC) and Ghana Education Service (GES) benchmarks.
This milestone reinforces Keep Premium Solutions’ commitment to sustainable, grassroots-driven educational innovation—investing in human capital so that Ghanaian educators lead the digital revolution from within their own classrooms.
