From Approval to Action: KPS Trains 84 Master Trainers, District ICT Officers, and Training Officers Across Greater Accra

Following the strategic consensus reached at the Acknac Hotel Stakeholders Engagement Forum, official institutional approval was granted to Keep Premium Solutions (KPS) by the Greater Accra Regional Education Directorate to roll out the comprehensive ICT Integration Training Workshop across the region.

To ensure that the downstream classroom rollout maintained the highest pedagogical and technical standards, KPS immediately commenced the implementation phase with an intensive Trainer of Trainees (ToT) Capacity-Building Workshop.

Mobilizing 84 Core District Facilitators

The workshop convened a powerhouse cohort of 84 key educational officers and lead practitioners, carefully drawn from every Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Education Directorate across Greater Accra:

  • District ICT Officers (DICTOs): To anchor technical oversight, hardware readiness, and digital resource management in their respective enclaves.
  • District Training Officers (DTOs): To guarantee pedagogical alignment with National Teaching Council (NTC) continuous professional development frameworks.
  • Selected Lead ICT Teachers: Outstanding classroom practitioners chosen to serve as frontline mentors and peer facilitators during the mass teacher rollout.

Immersive, Hands-On Curriculum

Moving far beyond routine software orientation, the ToT intensive focused on building actionable facilitation capability:

  • Pedagogical Integration into the Standard-Based & Common Core Curricula: Translating digital tools into daily lesson delivery, active learning experiences, and curriculum objectives.
  • Classroom Simulation and Facilitation Coaching: Equipping participants to troubleshoot low-connectivity school scenarios, manage large teacher workshops, and deliver practical, peer-to-peer training.
  • Assessment Strategies & Analytics: Utilizing digital platforms for formative assessment, performance tracking, and classroom feedback loops.
  • Resource Mobilization for Diverse Schools: Designing learning activities adaptable to both high-resourced urban classrooms and resource-constrained peri-urban learning environments.

Setting the Stage for Regional Transformation

By successfully certifying this core team of 84 master trainers, KPS and the Greater Accra Regional Directorate established a sustainable, decentralized support infrastructure within the public school system.

These 84 certified officers and lead teachers now serve as the regional vanguard—ready to guide thousands of classroom educators as the district-by-district cascade gets underway.
